As Finance Business Partner DACH you serve as keybusiness partner and contributor for the DACH management in support of ongoinggrowth strategies, tactics and long-term planning, ensuring that currentrevenue-generating strategies create enterprise value.

You actively partner with relevant business colleagues to optimizebusiness performance by maximizing the use of technology to bring an analyticalapproach to framing and solving problems, and to identifying opportunities.Build a collaborative relationship with the business and be seen as an integraland accepted function within the company, especially within the DACH Managementand Sales team. 

The business actively comes to Finance for support. We make the businesssuccessful by working closely with our business partner and activelyparticipate in all key business decisions. It is a win-win relationship. 

Key Responsibilities:

Establish an active partnership with both the assigned local managementand the global Finance management team (especially EMEA) to provide real timesupport, to be a trusted advisor and to add value that will assist the localDACH management and Sales team in decision making.

Be the interface and "translator” between the languages of Finance andOperations.

Work closely with local DACH management to drive the forecasting processfor the assigned segment of business operations. Maintain the monthly forecastmodel that is coordinated with the local leadership and budget.

Work with corporate FP&A, establish key performance indicators(KPIs) and scorecards within DACH to monitor the business specifically withregard to efficiency, profitability and time and resource management.

Partner with the business in a commercial capacity to support businessgrowth in DACH and where appropriate engage directly with strategic clients onlarge deals.

Provide early deal engagement shaping and maximize economic value. Asappropriate help generate customer ROI business cases to secure budgets.

Be able to identify improvement opportunities in processes.

Direct preparation of the annual sales plan and operating budget. Reviewactuals with management and provide for an understanding of variances.

Complete special financial, administrative and ad hoc projects asdirected by your senior management.

Be a Product champion in the finance function, demonstrating the valueinternally of our business discovery platform. Be the regional expert user ofstandard corporate apps (financial and operational) and develop apps on an adhoc basis as required to increase the credibility of the finance function andits analysis and conclusions when facing off with operating management.

Work alongside the shared service center in region to who will providethe following functions: invoicing, maintenance renewals, payroll, accounting,Concur, accrual and commission calculation.

Ensure internal controls, procedures, and guidelines are conform tocorporate directives, HR policies, industry practices and government rules.

Analytical skills must address the full range of issues includingmarketing, strategic planning, technological and economics from an operationaland strategic standpoint.

Familiar with and capable of impacting financial and operating metrics,able to analyze the business from an operational driver-based view and tie tofinancial outcomes, not limited to financial statement analysis.

Advanced aptitude in problem solving, including the ability to logicallystructure an appropriate analytical framework. Provide relevant information andanalysis, clarification and guidance.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to be‘easy to do business’ with and with the ability to influence and build strongbusiness relationships.

Strong strategic agility and capability as well as ability to driveoperational excellence - ability and inclination to roll up sleeves and dig in.Dependence on and confidence in own abilities to get things done.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree equivalent mandatory

• Finance or equivalent qualification

• A Masters degree in Accounting or MBA desirable Languages

• Business level English and German mandatory

• Other relevant languages would be an advantage 

Experience (technical, commercial, industry / product/ functional expertise, etc.):

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Finance with experience as a businesspartner

• First experience in leading a small team

• Experience of working within a centralized Finance model

• Knowledge of and/or experience within the software industry workingfor small fast growing

  and larger organizations

• Sound understanding of process principles and tactics

• Experience with all accounting principles (GAAP) and international financialreporting stand-

   ards (IFRS)

• Knowledge of ERP systems is highly desired

• Expertise in Microsoft Office products

• Demonstrated experience using Excel to build and maintain complexfinancial models as well

   as perform financial and dataanalysis

• Mobility – 10% of travel time required.
