Job Description

Thisincredible opportunity is focused on leading, coaching and mentoring a team ofAlliances Managers; helping the DACH leadership team sell Finance and HCMapplications into prospective Workday customers in the DACH region; develop,manage and nurture key partner relationships; and ensure that our ecosystem hasenough capacity for the business volume expected of a company in high growth.This role is highly visible within the geography and requires demonstration ofleadership beyond the immediate span of control.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively coach, support, and lead by example a team ofAlliances Managers
  • Develop strategies to create new opportunities wherenone previously exist
  • Effectively position Workday’s unique value propositionagainst aggressive competitors
  • Connect with C-suite decision makers across SystemsIntegrators, Prospects and Customers and articulate Workday’s impact onbusiness value
  • Drive Workday Culture and cross-group collaborationwithin the Munich and Frankfurt offices as a member of the local leadershipteam
  • Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships withstrategic partners
  • Collaborate with our services organization so thatthere is very close alignment between the functions
  • Ensure that our ecosystem is focused on enabling theirFINS and HCM practices with Workday certified consultants

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales with a quotaresponsibility, and as a sales manager (first or second line), operating atexecutive level
  • Experience within the business applicationsmarketplace, preferably FINS, ERP or HCM related
  • Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex,matrixed, team-based sales environments
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles fromstart to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Experience in managing a team of highly skilledopportunity-creating and business-transformational Alliances Managers
  • True passion for delivering results through others
  • High level of accountability in a high growthenvironment
  • Well above-average written and verbal communicationskills in German and English mandatory
  • Proven as a self-starter, fast-learner, and agent ofchange
  • Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies,with existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills
  • Masters’ degree preferred
